Jesus calls us to live out our love for Him in our love for one another. This is especially true within families who embody the love of Christ as the domestic Church. The Parish of Christ the King offers a variety of ministries to help families flourish, grow and celebrate their faith together.
Join a Ministry
This ministry teaches our families how to live in the rhythm of the Church and enhance their faith life through everyday moments. Placing an emphasis on the role of parents in teaching the faith, this ministry is our version of a Sunday School, where families learn and pray together.
Sessions are the first Sunday of the month from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
The St. Gianna Ministry serves to lift up and share God’s abundant love with new and expectant mothers at the Parish of Christ the King. Through prayers, frequent phone calls, and encouragement from a St. Gianna volunteer, mothers will be supported spiritually and emotionally, and will receive small gifts of love and welcome from their baby’s conception to infant Baptism. This ministry is made up of both volunteers and new or expectant mothers.
This committee helps families with newborn children by providing meals to them. Volunteers can sign up to provide dinner to a family upon receiving notice from the ministry leader of a new birth in the parish. Volunteers work directly with the family to arrange the dinner, day and delivery details once contact information is shared.
Meet other parents, let your kids play, and build community within our parish! Designed for parents with children 0-5, Pray and Play meets at various locations (parks, museums, etc.) throughout the month at 10 a.m. for fun and fellowship.
No RSVP is necessary. However, to join the group and get weekly location information, please contact Lindsay at 918.407.1495.
